Murrvees.

Village Cinemas' recent promotion of 'bring a friend for $5' has worked in my favour as it has allowed me to see the following films due to the fact that i have a lot of friends worth $5.

Here are my ratings of the following films.

Wolfman (Benicio Del Toro, Wolves)
*
Though he is not hot as a wolf, Benicio the 'man' is hot. That is the only reason I have granted it one star. I'm surprised he decided to not only star in this flop but to produce it aswell. Very strange choice. Perhaps he actually is a wolf and his choice in adopting this character was to play a part that would be a bit closer to home.

Shutter Island (Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley)
***
Leo is hot. So hot, that I'm always inclined to watch his movies. That is due to the fact that he is amazing. Amazing at acting and amazing at being Leo. When the plot came together and I understood the idea, thats when I really started to enjoy it. I was disappointed as I had high expectations.

Dear John (Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried)
(No stars)
Channing Tatum is ridiculously hot. It may seem I fancy all the leading men but...I'm just being honest and I know you feel the same...be it female or male. Unfortunately Channing is the only non-lame aspect of the movie. A little birdie told me that 'Dear John' has come from the same guys as 'The Notebook'. There is no comparison. If you're bored, like boring movies or you yourself are boring, check it out, you'll love it.

Blind Side (Sandra Bullock and others)
****
The 1st time I saw this movie- 45 minutes into it we had to evacuate the cinema as it was on fire! True story. The second time round we were able to enjoy the film with no interruptions. I loved it. I figure that you cant just have a kick-ass storyline...characters have to draw you in and it did just that. Sandra Bullock's character takes in an African American kid from the 'pra-jekts' and provides him with a good education, a bright future and a place in her family. If only my mum did that. That would've been so cool.
